Dr. Lilly Parks Springer, Psy.D.

Lilly is a California-licensed psychologist and owner of Parks Psychology Practices. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University, San Diego. She completed her two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the UC San Diego Eating Disorders Center in the adolescent program, where she worked with teens and their families as both an individual and family therapist. Having been a lifelong athlete, she was drawn to the sport and athlete track in the clinic and specializes in eating disorder recovery in athletes. Prior to receiving her doctorate, Lilly worked at the UCSD Eating Disorders Center as a research assistant from 2017-2019 and in the adult clinic as a practicum student from 2021-2022. In addition to her eating disorder expertise, Lilly spent multiple years training in generalist settings where she supported children, teens, and young adults in managing anxiety, depression, school stress, self-harm behaviors, suicidal thoughts, and relational and adjustment difficulties, which helped bolster her ability to successfully treat various mental health struggles. Lilly’s therapeutic style is warm, authentic, and irreverent, and she prides herself on forging therapeutic relationships built on feelings of safety and trust. She is passionate about providing evidence-based treatment, pulling interventions from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. In her free time, Lilly enjoys attending live music events, triathlons, traveling, exploring San Diego, and spending time with her husband and dog.
